You don’t need to limit yourself to savoury flavors. The Yak Grill delivers delicious desserts too! Sweet peaches caramelized and hot off the grill pair perfectly with classically simple vanilla ice cream for a treat everyone will love!
INGREDIENTS (Serves 6)
3 fresh, locally grown peaches
3 cups sugar water
1 pint vanilla ice cream
1. One hour before you grill your peaches, cut them in half and remove the stones. Then macerate (think marinate, but for fruit!) in the sugar water. This helps them get nicely caramelized once you get them on the grill.
2.Put the macerated peaches on the hot grill for about two minutes per side to make sure the peaches are warmed all the way through.
3. Once they are nice and warm, put them in a bowl and top them with a generous scoop of your favorite brand of vanilla ice cream.
